What a cracking line up we have for the first show that Stand up for Labour has put on in North West Durham!

The night features:
Opening act Kate Fox, an hilarious stand-up poet who regularly appears on Radio 4 and was a big hit with audiences at Stand up for Labour’s events in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Shildon, Middlesbrough, Bolton, Manchester and Blackpool.

Norman Lovett was one of the pioneers of Alternative Comedy, which saw off the bigoted, ignorant humour on the comedy circuit in the 1960s and 1970s. His deadpan style was a huge influence on other acts, including Stewart Lee and Jeremy Hardy and saw him picked up for roles in ‘The Young Ones’ and ‘Keeping up Appearances’ and his own sitcom, ‘I, Lovett’. His most notable TV role came, which many of you will remember him for, in the cult sci-fi series ‘Red Dwarf’, in which he played the computer, ‘Holly’. Lost Voice Guy won over audiences across the UK with his unique stand up routine and took the title as 2018’s ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ winner. He has since been in heavy demand and it is a great honour that he will be performing at this show.
