Owain is the owner of a Wolsingham based SME, Gardner’s Sourdough Bakery Ltd, which is 100% organic. He is also a PhD Candidate in History at the University of Glasgow, looking into music’s place in early Franciscan liturgy and its impact on J. S. Bach. He believes firmly in the power of co-operation, as Covid19 has shown what working together can achieve for our communities. His interests include history, politics, music, literature and walking. He is a member of Unite the Union, UCU and Musicians’ Union. Alongside this, he is also a member of the Royal Historical Society, the Lincoln Record Society, Political Studies Association and the International Robert Grosseteste Society.
