Join us on Thursday 6th December at The Demi in Consett, for an evening of festive fun beginning at 7pm. This is a great opportunity for a get together whilst helping some of the incredible groups and charities who look after the most vulnerable people in North West Durham.

The focus of the evening will be to collect donations in a variety of forms. We’ll be collecting food and toiletry items for some of our constituency’s food banks. We’ll also be helping with The Salvation Army’s amazing toy appeal and we’ll be collecting toys and other items which are suitable for children from 0-16 years old. Finally we’ll be collecting sanitary products to assist the relatively newly established Red Box Project to fight #periodpoverty in North West Durham. Check out the lists attached for suggested donations.

We’ll have the fabulous County Durham Labour Party Choir treating us to a performance of their Xmas favourites and a sing-a-long, fundraising games, karaoke, nibbles and wonderful company on offer.

Please come along to join in the fun and contribute to the great causes who we’ll be supporting to try and make the festive period that little bit merrier for those who may not be as fortunate as ourselves.
