The third in our popular series of free political education webinars takes place on Tuesday 7 July at 7.30pm and will be examining the issue of racism and how we combat it.
Our brilliant panel of speakers at “Racism in today’s Britain – what it is and how to fight it” will be considering a number of issues, which have been hitting the headlines recently.
Our three speakers for this event are: –
Curtis Fleming, Patron of Show Racism the Red Card
Jane Lee, a member of the Romany Gypsy community
David Rosenberg, Educator, writer and Jewish historian
And we are delighted to have as our chair for the event: –
Laura Pidcock, Former Labour MP for North West Durham
After the speakers have spoken, we will take questions from the audience on what is a vitally important issue that is sure to be of interest to all party members across the constituency.
Like our previous well-attended events, this North West Durham Labour free webinar will take place on the Zoom online meeting platform and registration is required to secure your place. We expect another good turnout from members so please register below and you will receive a link enabling you to log into the event.
We look forward to seeing you at 7.30pm on Tuesday 7 July!
